What primary photographic style do you identify with?
I am versatile and trained in a wide range of styles: Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture, Traditional.
Do you have liability insurance?
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I am fully trained in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and can do a wide variety of finishes from black + white, to sepia, to hand-coloring. I can also do hand-retouching if a blemish decides to show up on your big day!
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
In order to keep my prices low for you, I have learned to manipulate lighting without having thousands of dollars of high tech equipment. Whether your wedding is indoors, outdoors, night, or day, my swivel and tilt flash and light cards will get the job done!
What do you shoot on?
I use a digital SLR, a Nikon D90 with an SB900 flash.
Do you have back up equipment?
Yes. I bring along a Nikon D70, an SB600, and a whole bunch of extra batteries and chargers.
How many photographers do you work with?
Additional photographers are available, upon request, but I generally operate alone to cut your costs.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case of an emergency on the day of the event?
I have several friends that are photographers, so between them, I could more than likely find a replacement. In the case that I could not, a full refund would be made, of course.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
You pay one amount for the day, there are no hidden fees in going over in time.
Are you willing to travel?
Yes! The first 50 miles of driving are on us...after that there is a $0.50/mile fee. We are also available for destination weddings (and passport ready), for a small additional fee and the cost of travel.
*For weddings expected to last late that are past the 50 mile radius, we as that hotel accomodations be provided.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
3 sets of DVD’s with high-res jpgs, and one with original RAW files; an online viewing gallery for guests; and an online printer for easy prints.
How long can I keep the proofs?
Forever, they are all yours.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
No, they are all yours. No watermarks or copy rights symbols.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, part of my low price includes my right to use your photographs in my own portfolio.
Are you comfortable shooting a same sex marriage?
Yes, you shouldn’t even have to ask.
